Install QuickBooks Desktop 2024, open your current company file, and QuickBooks converts it to the 2024 format. Your customers, vendors, chart of accounts, transaction history and reports all carry over.
Back the file up before you convert it: once it has been upgraded it can no longer be opened in the older version. Files from recent versions convert in one step; a much older file can need an intermediate version first, so tell us which year you are on now and we will confirm what it needs.
One thing to be clear about: what you buy here is a full 2024 license, not a discounted upgrade of your existing one. Older licenses cannot be transferred, exchanged or credited against a new purchase.
