Software licences are a category with a lot of grey-market keys in it, so running this check is the right instinct. Everything below is something you can confirm without taking our word for it.
Four things you can check
Payment goes to Stripe, not to us
Checkout hands you to Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers, and the charge on your statement comes from a processor you already recognise.
Delivery is a licence key and an official download
After payment you get the licence key by email along with the link to Intuit's own installer. Nothing is posted, and there is nothing to wait for.
A 60-day refund policy you can read first
If a key will not activate, we fix it or refund you. The full terms are published before you buy, not after — including what the policy does not cover.
A person answers
Write before you order and ask whether the edition you are looking at fits. We would rather talk someone out of a purchase than process a refund for one.
Our credentials
We hold Intuit’s own QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor certification, and we sell as an Intuit Authorized Reseller Partner. Both are Intuit programmes, not badges we designed for ourselves — the certification is verifiable through Intuit’s ProAdvisor directory.

How we source our software
We understand that customers want to know where their software comes from and whether the licence they purchase is legitimate.
We source our software licences through established commercial and distribution channels, with a focus on providing genuine, unused activation details for the specific product purchased. Before a product is offered for sale, we take steps to verify the licence information and ensure that the corresponding software can be downloaded and activated as intended.
Because our products are delivered digitally, there are no physical discs or boxes. After purchase, customers receive the relevant download information, licence and activation details, and installation instructions electronically.
FinoTax operates as an independent software reseller. QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks of Intuit Inc. Our role is to provide customers with the software licence they purchase, clear delivery information, and assistance with installation and activation when needed.
Our goal is simple: transparent product information, secure digital delivery, and dependable support before and after your purchase.
What we are not going to tell you
How many customers love us. Star ratings and review counts are the easiest thing on the internet to manufacture, which is exactly what makes them worthless as a check. Judge us on the four things above instead: a credential you can look up, a processor that appears on your own statement, a policy you can read before paying, and whether a person answers when you write.
That a 2024 licence is good forever in every sense. The licence itself never expires, but Intuit ends the connected services for the 2024 release — payroll, bank feeds, Payments, live support — on 31 May 2027.
